Kenya celebrates a remarkable moment as Noni secures the Miss Sustainable Beauty title at the 63rd Miss International edition in Tokyo, Japan in 2025
Muthoni Kariuki (Noni) is a young Kenyan climate champion, farmer, award-winning creative, an established model and beauty queen. She is the Founder and President of Green Age Warriors, an environmental initiative advocating for empowerment and inclusion of people at the grassroots level in the fight against climate change. Noni is a passionate advocate for inclusive community empowerment leaving no one behind, using her platform to inspire purpose-driven action and positive change.
Growing up in a rural and marginalized community in Mbeere, Embu County, Muthoni experienced firsthand the realities of inequality and environmental challenges. These experiences shaped her vision and commitment to empowering local communities to improve their well-being, believing firmly that “the people closest to the problem are the people closest to the solution.”
Crowned Miss Sustainable Beauty 2025 at the 63rd Miss International edition in Tokyo, Japan, this achievement is not only a dream come true for Muthoni but also a call to service and responsibility; to represent her country with pride, advocate for sustainability, and uplift others along the way.
