Muthoni “Noni” Kariuki is a young Kenyan climate champion, farmer, award-winning creative, established model, and beauty queen, and the Founder and President of Green Age Warriors, an environmental initiative advocating for the empowerment and inclusion of people at the grassroots in the fight against climate change.
Growing up in a rural and marginalized community in Mbeere, Embu County, Muthoni experienced firsthand the realities of inequality and environmental challenge. Those experiences shaped her vision and her belief that “the people closest to the problem are the people closest to the solution.”
Crowned Miss Sustainable Beauty 2025 at the 63rd Miss International edition in Tokyo, Japan, she treats the title not as an accolade but as a call to service: to represent her country with pride, advocate for sustainability, and uplift others along the way.
The cause she carries
One platform, three fronts. Every initiative of her reign extends a single promise: that a Kenyan girl’s postcode should never decide her future.
Green Age Warriors
The environmental initiative she founded and leads — empowering and including people at the grassroots in the fight against climate change.
Inclusive Empowerment
A commitment to leave no one behind, using her platform to inspire purpose-driven action and positive change in marginalized communities.
Sustainability Leadership
Championing the UN Sustainable Development Goals—turning climate advocacy into practical, community-led action.
A reign aligned to the global goals
Noni’s advocacy through Green Age Warriors advances ten of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, from ending poverty and hunger to climate action and partnership for change.
